Pitch, Hit and Learn 2015

Baseball NB is proud to announce the fourth annual Pitch, Hit and Learn Baseball Camps, which is a one day event focusing on skill development in the areas of pitching and hitting and general baseball skills. This camp is geared toward players from the ages of 9 through 13.

The 2015 17U Baseball NB Selects team will be attending the Under Armour Showcase in New Hampshire from June 26 to 29, the inaugural Atlantic T12 scouting event in Moncton July 17 - 19 and represent Baseball New Brunswick at the 2015 Baseball Canada Cup held in Saskatoon from August 5 -9.
15U Selection Camp

Baseball New Brunswick will be holding their selection camp for the 2015 Junior Selects Team. The first of two sessions will be on Saturday May 23rd in Moncton at CN Field #9 starting at 2:30pm. The second session will take place on Wednesday May 27th in Dieppe at Amirault Field #4 starting at 6:30pm.
All players born in 2000 and 2001 wishing to play for the Junior Selects team during the 2015 season must register for and attend at least one of the two sessions.

OTTAWA- Baseball Canada is pleased to announce that eight Canadian umpires have been selected to work at the Pan Am Games in Toronto this July.
Five of the eight will work the men’s baseball competition in Ajax from July 11-19, while the other three will officiate the women’s baseball competition from July 20-26, also in Ajax.
In total, 12 umpires were selected to work the men’s baseball competition and seven umpires were selected for the women’s competition.
The Pan Am Games men’s baseball competition will feature seven teams (Canada, USA, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Colombia, Cuba), while the women’s competition will see five teams (Canada, USA, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela) compete for the gold medal.
The eight Canadian umpires selected are all part of Baseball Canada’s Umpires Program and were selected to work the Pan Am Games by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).
